Death condoled

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan and former Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala have expressed grief over the death of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Rajya Sabha member Sumitra Mahajan in Delhi late on Friday night.

In a condolence message here on Saturday, Mr. Hooda described her as a great social worker who was associated with several religious and social organisations.

Mr. Chander Mohan also condoled the death and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.

In a separate message, Mr. Chautala said that the 70-year-old MP was an active and loyal party leader.
