R. Dwarakinath felicitated

BANGALORE: The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore, on Saturday felicitated the former Vice-Chancellor R. Dwarakinath for his contributions to the field of agricultural extension.

Union Minister of State for Planning M.V. Rajasekharan presented a shawl and a citation to Dr. Dwarakinath and Sarojamma Dwarakinath. Mr. Rajasekharan recalled the contributions of the Dr. Dwarakinath, who turned 80, in the area of extension services. The Union Minister also released a book "Dr. R Dwarakinath — a distinguished agricultural extension expert."

M.N. Sheelavanthar, Vice-Chancellor of UAS, Bangalore, was present.
