KOLKATA: Sunil Kumar ousted top seed Adam Vejmelka of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-1 in the first round of the ITF men's Futures tennis tournament here on Tuesday. The talented left-hander, ranked 733, will be challenged by compatriot Vivek Shokeen in the next round. Sanam Singh dismissed the eighth-seeded Alexander Kudryavtsev of Russia 6-1, 6-4 while Divij Sharan emphasised his standing as the fifth-seed against another Russian, Andrei Stoliarov, with a 6-4, 6-0 win.
