ABVP memo to SVU Registrar

TIRUPATI: ABVP on Monday presented a memorandum to the SVU Registrar listing grievances and sought their immediate redressal.

They complained that though the university college was reopened on January 18 after Sankranti holidays, messes were opened only in some hostels while in others they still remained closed under the pretext that students did not pay their bills.

The ABVP leaders questioned the propriety of the decision when the Government had not released the SC/ST/BC students' scholarships.

Some of their other demands were that the examination fees collected from those doing the `self-supporting' courses should be on a par with other general students.
