Telling cartoon

The cartoonscape by Keshav (Jan, 23) speaks volumes about the government's proposal to open the doors for pension funds to be invested in stocks. In the volatile market of bulls and bears, caution should be the watchword.

The cartoon aptly depicts the predicament of the retired employees. It is the pensioners who should decide whether or not to put their hard-earned resources into the volatile stock market.
