Combined Workshop triumphs

VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada Division and Combined Workshop won the men's and women's championship at the South Central Railway inter-divisional athletic meet at Railway mini stadium here on Tuesday.

Vijayawada garnered 173 points, while Combined Workshop registered 146 points to take the first places. S. Raghunathan (Vijayawada) and Udaya Lakshmi (Combined Workshop) won the individual championships with 26 and 50 points respectively.

The organisng committee felicitated international athletes J. J. Shobha and G. Geetha. SCR General Manager D.N. Mathur and Senior Deputy General Manager Varun gave away the prizes.

Flora wins

Flora Public School, Vuyyuru, lifted the Nori Sivaramakrishna Trophy in the inter-schools' tournament by registering three victories in the super league here on Tuesday.

The Scores: Gowtham PS 181 in 38 overs (Anil 51, Shakthiranjan Naik three for 23, Rahul Varma three for 35) bt NSM PS 141 in 34.5 overs (Lalith 41).

VPS PS 134 for nine in 40 overs (Suhuruth 38, Asha Srikanth four for 17, Bhanu three for 28) lost to Flora PS137 in 37 overs (Harish three for nine).

KDCA power League
