KOCHI: Tamil Nadu with 140 points led the race for the overall championship title at the end of the first day in the 39th South Zone Central Revenue sports meet here on Tuesday.

Kerala was placed second with 68 points ahead of Karnataka (44).

The meet will conclude on Wednesday.
