Kerala Varma and Fine Arts College in joint lead with 17 points

THRISSUR: Sree Kerala Varma College and Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur, were leading with a score of 17 points each when the results of 15 events were announced at the Calicut University D-Zone Youth Festival here on Tuesday. IES, Chittilappilly, and St. Thomas College, Thrissur, were in the second and third positions with 16 and 15 points respectively.

The following are the results of some of the events (in the order of first, second and third prizes):

Clay-modelling: Rana Prathap, Sreekrishna College, Guruvayur; K.G. Shajil, Asmabi College, Amballur; Naval Abdul IES, Chittilappilly.

Triple-drums: Abhishek, IES, Chittilappilly; K.T. Krishnakumar, St. Thomas College, Thrissur; Anoop, Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur.
