HUBLI: The cooperative sector needs to become more professional in order to ensure a better future, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj Horatti has said. Inaugurating the two-day symposium on "Role of Credit Cooperative Societies in the Future and Readiness" here on Monday, the Minister said the societies needed to conduct regular training programmes to become more professional.
Meeting competition
In the wake of competition from other financial institutions, there is great responsibility on the boards of directors of cooperative societies. Vice- President of zilla panchayat B.B. Gangadharmath and other officials were present.
