SRIKAKULAM: Well-known social activist Mantri Venkataswamy has been selected for the Madras Telugu Academy's `Samaikya Bharath Gaurav Satkar-2007'. According to a letter from the academy, the award is given to Mr. Venkataswamy as a recognition of his services and achievements in `AIDS Awareness, Prevention and Rehabilitation'. The award will be presented at a function in Chennaiah on April 29 (Ugadi ).
