Blood donation camp

ANU NSS unit organised a blood donation camp at Nalanda Degree and PG College. Some 200 students donated blood. Mayor Mallika Begum, chief guest, said blood donation was the greatest of all donations and it would save precious lives.

Microphone, bell

Dr. Jandhyala Dakshina Memorial Trust presented a microphone loudspeaker set and a bronze bell to the Dr. Jandhyala Dakshina Murthi Municipal Corporation School, Vambay Colony. Mayor Mallika Begum handed over the set to the school headmaster. CPI floor leader P. Gowtham Reddy and corporator BHSV Jana Reddy were present.

Studio inaugurated

Mylavaram MLA Chanumolu Venkata Rao said photography had a very important role in the life of the present-day generation. Addressing a meeting after inaugurating a studio, Mr. Rao said photography had witnessed rapid changes.

Seminar

The national seminar on business intelligence concluded at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science. Dr. Sashikala Banoor of ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad, discussed the issues of business intelligence, customer behaviour and data acquisition. J. Rajesh Chowdary of Siddhartha College delivered a lecture on knowledge management.
