VIJAYAWADA: The Anti-Goonda Squad of the city police on Tuesday arrested a quack and a physician and registered cheating case against them. The police charged Fougina Tarunam (26), a postgraduate in biotechnology, with prescribing medicines to patients visiting Medicaid Clinic and Panja Centre, where she joined as nursing assistant. They also arrested G. Srikanth (26), a physician and administrator of the clinic.
