Man killed in road accident

BANGALORE:
A 45-year-old man was killed in a collision between a lorry and a motorcycle on the Outer Ring Road, off FTIC Circle, in Yeshwanthapur traffic police station limits on Monday night.
Police said the deceased was identified as Chidananda of Kengeri. He was riding pillion on the motorcycle. The Yeshwanthapur traffic police, who have registered a case, are on the lookout for the lorry driver who ran away after the accident.
Suicide
A debt-ridden man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Hebbal police station limits on Monday night.
Police gave his name as Krishna (35), a labourer and a resident of Sanjeevininagar.
His wife, Bhagya, and their nine-month-old daughter were asleep when the incident occurred, the police said.
The Hebbal police have registered a case.
