THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Khazana Jewellery, one of the largest jewellery companies in South India, proposes to expand its showroom networks in the region, in addition to centres such as Colombo, Dhaka, Singapore and Dubai, the company's managing director Kishore Jain said here on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference in connection with the opening of the company's showroom here on Wednesday the first in Kerala he said every piece of jewellery sold through its showrooms would be hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards, thus assuring for the customers the highest quality. The company has manufacturing facilities in Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai, Rajkot and Coimbatore. New showrooms planned in South India are in Mangalore, Tirupati, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli and Coimbatore. These will be opened within a matter of three or four months, Mr. Kishore Jain said. He said the new showroom in Thiruvananthapuram would offer the customers a wide range of traditional and contemporary jewellery along with accessories in gold, diamond and platinum. Film star Kavya Madhavan formally inaugurated the showroom.
