CM's effigy burnt, two held

SIVAKASI: Two Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam supporters were arrested after they burnt an effigy of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, near here on Wednesday.

The police nabbed Jeyakumar (38) and Rajendran (38) after they burnt the effigy at Chitharajapuram bus stand. The incident is a fall out of the Income Tax raids conducted in Vijayakant's house on Tuesday.
