Parents urged not to panic

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Karnataka (Recognised) Unaided Schools' Managements' Association has alleged that the Education Department is creating fear and tension among parents and children over the issue of de-recognition of schools from the next academic year.

"The department is issuing advertisements informing parents about schools derecognised by it and warning them not to continue or admit their children to such schools. This exercise of the department is unwanted," the association has said. "Parents need not get panicky as the issue is before the High Court awaiting judgment," the association has said.
