The Road Accident Action Forum has decided to felicitate select model drivers in the district who have an accident-free record for at least 10 years. K.M. Abdu, president of the forum, says that 350 applications have been received for selection from drivers of private and private vehicles in the district. The model drivers will be selected in consultation with the traffic police and others concerned, he said. . Commendation certificates and medals will be presented to the winners. The programme is being carried out in Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, Kochi and Alappuzha districts,.
