Rare opportunity

At a function here last week to mark the 80th anniversary of the Atmavidya Sanghom set up by Vagbhatanandna Guru, K. Sudhakaran, Kannur MLA, said he would cherish the opportunity he got to share the dais with critic Sukumar Azhikode at a function.

It was a rare opportunity for him to speak at a function attended by Prof. Azhikode whose oratorial skills he admired, the MLA said.

Mr. Sudhakaran delivered his presidential speech after Prof. Azhikode delivered his inaugural speech. Prof. Azhikode was so impressed with Mr. Sudhakaran that he complimented the MLA.
