NEW DELHI:
Seventeen personnel of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service on Republic Day.
The awardees of the President's Medal for Distinguished Service are: B.B. Mishra, Joint Director (East) and Special Task Force, Delhi; Om Prakash Gaur, SP, CBI, Jammu; S.N. Saxena, SP, CBI, Mumbai; S. Vijay Kumar, Additional SP, CBI, Bangalore and S.K. Peshin, SP, Economic Offences Unit, CBI, Delhi.
The President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service have gone to A.K. Ohri, SP, Delhi; A.K. Banerjee, Additional SP, Kolkata; R.M. Krishna, Additional SP, Lucknow; P. Ramamohan Rao; N. Krishna Murthy; Syed Bazlullah, all Deputy SP, Chennai; Rajiv Dwivedi, Deputy SP, Delhi; K.S. Nageswaran, Inspector, Delhi; M.S. Patil, Inspector, Mumbai; Inder Pal Singh, Sub-Inspector, Delhi; R.P. Sharma, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Delhi and P.A. Rane, Head Constable, Mumbai.
