Record growth in industrial output

NEW DELHI: Industrial production registered a high growth of 14.4 per cent in November 2006, as compared to November 2005. This is the highest growth in over a decade. Industrial growth during the first eight months (April to November 2006) of the current financial year is up by 10.6 per cent as compared to 8.3 per cent registered in the same period last year, according to Quick Estimates of Industrial Production released by the CSO.
