DIG to receive President's Medal

Anjanikumar, DIG, Nizamabad Range

NIZAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Nizamabad range, Anjanikumar has been selected for the prestigious Indian Police Medal (President's Medal) for his meritorious services in the year 2006.

According to the Deputy IG, he was informed about his selection for the IPM by the State police headquarters on Thursday evening. The Government of India announced the award on the occasion of Republic Day celebrations. Mr. Anjanikumar will receive the medal from the Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Independence Day (August 15, 2007) at the Police Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, he said.
