CHENNAI: Six All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MLAs were evicted from the Assembly on Thursday. Immediately after the House began its proceedings, AIADMK and MDMK MLAs shouted slogans demanding the resignation of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi over the alleged violence during Chennai Corporation elections in October last year. Speaker R. Avudaiappan asked them to resume their seats or leave the House. While all of them walked out, six AIADMK MLAs did not join their colleagues but shouted at the Speaker asking him to order their eviction. The Speaker directed marshals to evict them. For the fifth day succession, AIADMK MLAs, along with their ally MDMK, walked out demanding resignation of the Chief Minister, Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin and State Election Commissioner.
