Disabled people to stage dharna

BANGALORE: Members of the Karnataka Rajya Angavikalara Okkuta will stage a demonstration in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue on Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. protesting against the State Government's negligence in addressing their problems.

Okkuta president I.M. Kachavi told presspersons here on Thursday, "After we observed December 3 as `Black Day', Women and Child Welfare Minister H.K. Kumaraswamy had promised us that he will arrange our meeting with Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on December 7. But nothing has happened so far," Mr. Kachavi said.
