BANGALORE: A good turnout by members of the public and a cultural pageantry presented by schoolchildren and the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment marked the 57th Republic Day celebrations at the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground here on Friday. As many as 1,450 schoolchildren drawn from three schools and attired colourfully danced on the Parade Ground to the melody and rhythm of patriotic songs.
