Dry weather

CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu; dry weather over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Karnataka. Minimum temperatures fell appreciably at one or two places in north coastal Tamil Nadu, Telangana, one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Telangana, north interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over south Kerala, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over Telangana, Rayalaseema, below normal at one or two places over south Kerala, north Tamil Nadu, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over interior Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, north coastal Andhra Pradesh. Adilabad recorded lowest of 9 degree Celsius in the plains.

Forecast (Valid until Sunday morning): Isolated rain is likely over south Tamil Nadu, Pudukottai and Nagapattinam districts of north Tamil Nadu, Karaikal region of Puducherry. Mainly dry weather will prevail over remaining districts of north Tamil Nadu, rest Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.
