VIJAYAWADA: Manipur women emerged the overall champions in the Indian round with 1834 points and created a new record in the 27th Cherukuri Volga memorial senior National archery championship at the Siddhartha Medical College ground here on Friday. The previous best of 1713 points was also held by Manipur, which it set in Cossipore in 2001. Manipur, Assam, SAI, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, U.P., AP and West Bengal qualified for the Guwahati National Games. The results: Indian round: Women: Individual: 1. 50m: H. Rajprivari Devi (Man) 309; 2. L. Gitanjali Devi (Man) 305; 3. T.H. Inakhunbi Devi (Man) 297. 30m: 1. L. Gitanjali Devi (Man) 322; 2. H. Rajprivari Devi (Man) 320; 3. Kiriti Sharada (Mah) 301. Overall champions: 1. H. Rajprivari Dev (Man) 629; 2. L. Gitanjali Dei (Man) 627; 3. P. Binitha Devi (SAI) 616.
