`9/11 attack was stage-managed'

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: Azadi Bachao Andolan on Saturday joined the Lone Lantern Society of the U.S. in challenging the theory of terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York in 2001 and claimed that the U.S. Government itself had attacked the twin towers.

The Andolan's national spokesperson, Rajiv Dixit, said at a press conference here that the U.S. Government had installed "strategic explosives" on all floors of the twin towers and it blew up the buildings when the aircraft were about to hit them.

Mr. Dixit said the Lone Lantern Society, comprising independent researchers and peace activists, had gathered evidence to prove that 880 detonators were used to demolish the twin towers.
