Vodafone bid likely in a few weeks

DAVOS: Vodafone, a key contender for acquiring Indian mobile operator Hutch-Essar, on Saturday said a decisive step in this direction was just weeks away.

The British firm's CEO Arun Sarin conveyed this to Indian Minister of State for Industry Ashwani Kumar at a meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum here. — PTI
