Novel protest staged

KURNOOL: Former mayor and TDP SC Cell State vice-president Bangi Ananthaiah staged a novel protest here on Saturday demanding an apology from TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his remarks against TDP.

Mr. Ananthaiah, donned the role of KCR and provoked his supporters to throw tomatoes and eggs at him (KCR).

Mr. Ananthaiah said he would continue the protest until Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao withdraws his remarks and apologises.

Several TDP activists and party workers turned out in good numbers.
