CHENNAI: L. Parthasarathy, Intelligence Officer, Directorate of Customs and Central Excise; P.K. Balakrishnan, Inspector, Service Tax Commissionerate, Chennai; and N. Ananthie, Inspector, Chennai-IV Central Excise Commissionerate, Chennai, have been awarded the Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificate for specially distinguished record of service on the occasion of Republic Day. P. Gourishankar, Regional Deputy Commissioner of Security, Southern Region, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, has been awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service. B. Mohan, Deputy Inspector-General, RPF and Chief Security Commissioner, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, and T. Krishna Rao, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, have been awarded the President's Police Medal for meritorious service.
