Somalese national asked to leave country

HYDERABAD: District Collector R.V. Chandravadan served a notice on a Somalese national for his unauthorised stay and directed him to leave the country within 15 days.

The Somalese, Abdi Abdullahi, came to city on a student visa and continued his stay even after expiry of his visa. A case to this effect was filed in Nampally Police Station and the 15th Metropolitan Magistrate convicted and sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs.2,000 in 1999.
