Video film fete to be held in Kannur

KANNUR: A three-day video film festival will be held here from March 23 under the aegis of the Kannur Film Chamber.

Entries for screening at the Video Film Fest-2007 to be held at the Jawahar Auditorium on March 23, 24 and 25 will include short film (five minutes), telefilm, documentary, campus film (30 minutes), animation film, musical album (five minutes) and photography (colour, 30x20, 18x12), according to a press release issued by the organisers.

There will be separate entry fees for participation in each category. The last date for receipt of the entries is March 10. Video films approved by the screening committee will be screened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the festival.

Noted personalities in the film industry would participate in the festival, organising committee general convener K.P. Damodaran said.
