Boy arrested on rape charge

BANGALORE: Devarajeevanahalli Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy on the charge of raping a minor girl on Thursday. A jurisdictional court has remanded the accused to judicial custody.

The police said the boy is a neighbour of the victim. According to the police, the boy allegedly lured the girl with chocolates and took her on to the terrace and committed the crime. The parents of the victim admitted her to a hospital and complained to the police on Saturday.
