Power Rangers enthral their fans

BANGALORE: Fans of action heroes Power Rangers had a big reason to celebrate on Sunday. The action heroes, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, occupied centre stage at Garuda Mall, all spruced up for the "JETIX LIVE" performance here.

Four 30-minute high-octane action-packed performances brought alive the superhero adventures of the Dino Rangers as they enthralled their Bangalore fans. Over 20,000 children and their families from the city got a chance to witness the unique music, action and stunt-based performances. The children also learnt the cool moves of Dino Rangers while a lucky few got a chance to share the limelight of being up close and personal with the Rangers right on the stage.

All children witnessing the Power Rangers performance in a special enclosed area were given the Power Rangers mask and were officially appointed "Honorary Rangers" complete with a special certificate signed by the Power Rangers themselves.

Garuda Mall was witness to four action-adventure performances. It was a jamboree of sorts with plenty of games and merchandise stalls in the adjoining area. Power Rangers is at present one of India's biggest children's franchises.

The Power Rangers are, for the watching children, the ultimate super-force charged with defending the earth.

Now in its 15th season internationally, the show refreshes each season with new costumes, storyline, actors and characters. The franchise began with a film and is now a hit TV show worldwide.

Power Rangers is the highest performing property on JETIX.

There are four hours of Power Rangers on the programming block everyday with four distinct series: Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta and the latest season: Power Rangers Mystic Force.

The super-hero action on JETIX content is aired across India on Toon Disney in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, reaching over 30 million households in India.
