Mega job mela at college

500 students expected to get employment

Chennai: Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College, Thandalam, organised a mega job mela at their campus on Saturday.

5,000 aspirants attended the mela, organised in association with M/S. Texas Technologies, Adyar. College chairman K.N. Ramachandraninaugurated the programme.

Candidates were expected to handover their resumes to any one or more of the participating companies, based on the selection criteria displayed prominently.

Many rounds of technical tests, group discussions and HR interviews were arranged. Around 500 students are expected to get employment through the mela, a College press release said.
