Kakinada : Real justice would be rendered to the backward classes only when they were assured of their due share in political power proportionate to their strength in population, said Makireddi Bhaskar, district convenor of 93 BC castes Ayikya Vedika. At a press conference here on Monday, he said, BCs were being utilised as vote banks by various political parties all these years without bothering about their welfare or the injustice meted out to them in various fields. Keeping in view the future elections, he said, the Ayikya Vedika led by Kasani Gnaneswer Mudiraj, had been preparing the 93 BC castes people under one banner, to achieve political power. Earlier he has released the diary and calendar published by the Ayikya Vedika. Dommeti Satyanarayana, president All-India Buddhists organisation called upon the BCs to come under a single forum to work out peacefully their legitimate rights and share in political power. A.V. Subbarao, Durga Prasad, Sangeti Apparao, Ayithamsetti Bhaskar, Challapalli Taraka Ramarao and other Backward Classes leaders attended.
