TN girls, Andhra boys clinch titles

Chennai: Tamil Nadu won the National ball badminton title for girls beating Kerala 29-22, 29-21 at Dhule (Maharashtra) on January 25.

In the semifinals, TN beat Karnataka 29-14, 14-29, 29-22.

In the boys' section, Andhra won the championship.

Karnataka and Tamil Nadu came second and third respectively.

Ms. Kanimozhi and Sukanya of Tamil Nadu were declared star players of the championship for girls.

P. Kabilan finished among the top stars in the boys' section.
