BAE Systems leases two aircraft

NEW DELHI: BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has continued its penetration of the Indian air transport market with the lease of two Avro RJ70s to a new carrier MDLR Airlines. The RJ70 was chosen in view of its combination of performance and economics and the fact that many of the airports to be served have short runways in mountainous regions with poor infrastructure.
