Linking LPG supply to ration cards flayed

Special Correspondent

CPI(M) terms the move `thoughtless'

HYDERABAD: The CPI (M) State committee has demanded scrapping of the proposal to link booking of LPG cylinder refills to possession of ration card as there were thousands of people without cards. B.V. Raghavulu, party secretary, in a statement here on Tuesday termed as `thoughtless' the rejection of bookings if ration cards were not produced. He said, it was part of the Government's plan to withdraw kerosene supply to the poor who possessed one cylinder.
