Kathmandu: In a crackdown on loyalists of Nepal King, three Ministers of the erstwhile Royal Cabinet Salim Miya Ansari, Kamal Thapa and Badri Mandal were arrested for allegedly inciting riots in Terai region amid intensified efforts by Premier G.P. Koirala to end the violent stir by Madhesia groups that claimed one more life on Tuesday. A senior Home Ministry official said they were being questioned by police. The crackdown came hours after Home Minister Krishna Bahadur Sitaula warned of stern action against those stirring violence in Terai, the southern plains of Nepal. PTI
