KOTTAKKAL: Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier's Arya Vaidya Sala celebrated its founder's day with a variety of programmes here on Tuesday. Renowned physician M.S. Valyathan inaugurated the festivities. Leading neurologist K. Rajasekharan Nair delivered the P.S. Varier Memorial Lecture on `speech and language disturbances.' C.K. Ramachandran, physician known for his expertise in both allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines, spoke on Dr. Valyathan's recent book `The Legacy of Susruta'. Aryavaidyan P.K. Warrier, chief physician and managing trustee of Arya Vaidya Sala, gave away the prizes to students who topped in Ayurveda examinations.
