MADIKERI: The Kodagu police have arrested a man on charges of murdering two women at Bodangudi in Kondangeri of Halugunda village in December, and recovered some jewels from him, according to police sources. The man has been identified as K.H. Ahmad alias Anwar from Ikola village near Kondangeri, District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) Inspector B.R. Lingappa said. The accused had allegedly strangulated B.S. Lalita from Bangalore and her sister-in-law Chondamma from Aiyyangeri village in Kodagu on the night of December 27. Investigations are on.
