BERHAMPUR: Students of Kaviraj Aananta Tripathy Sharma Ayurveda College at Ankushpur handed over a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Ankushpur on Tuesday, demanding that vacancies of teachers in the institution be filled at the earliest. Students of the only government college in South Orissa took advantage of the election campaign of the Chief Minister to apprise him about their problems. According to president of the students' union Lalitendu Sethi, the required staff strength of the college was six professors, 14 readers and 15 lecturers. Instead, it had only one lecturer. Its teaching faculty comprises of Ayurvedic doctors deputed to institution by the government.
