Plea to introduce new train

HYDERABAD: Nair Service Society, Secunderabad, has urged Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad to consider introducing a new superfast train from Hyderabad to Mangalore via Bangalore. The society in its representation also appealed that the new superfast train be run at least thrice a week for the benefit of Keralites living in the city. It also said that that the running time of Sabari Express from Hyderabad to Thiruvananthapuram be reduced to 26 hours from the present 30 hours. The society elected its new office-bearers --D.P.Nair (president), G. Suresh Kumar (general secretary), and C.G.Chandra Mohan (advisor) .
