Teacher stabbed to death

VIRUDHUNAGAR: A teacher, S. Selvaraj (48), was stabbed to death by a former student on the school premises at Elayirampannai near Sattur on Tuesday evening. The accused, P. Jayaganesh (19), was arrested. The teacher had scolded the boy when he was a student of the school last year.

The boy entered the staff room at around 6.30 p.m. and stabbed him . Selvaraj died on way to Government Hospital at Sattur.
