Technical fest on February 2

Coders and other computer-savvy youngsters from the region will flock to the Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College at Kodambakkam on February 2.

`KRANTI '07', a technical event featuring paper presentation, code debugging, digital art and technical quiz, is expected to draw at least 1,500 students, organisers say.

Sriram Rajagopal, Director, Human Resources, Cognizant Technological Solutions, will preside over the event, where participants will fight it out for cash prizes of Rs.30,000 and gift vouchers worth Rs.85,000.

Major sponsors of the event include Cognizant, TCS, e4e, HP, Airtel, Levi Strauss. Media sponsors include The Hindu and Radio City.
