Baby's body found

The body of a new-born male baby was found in a dustbin at Gudimalkapur under the Asifnagar police station limits on Tuesday. Some residents who noticed the body wrapped in a cloth alerted the police. The body is kept at the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) .

Chain snatched

Two scooter-borne persons snatched away a five tolas gold chain from a woman walking on the road near Assembly on Tuesday evening. A private firm employee, Srilata, 30, stepped out of her office and was walking towards the bus-stop when the miscreants came from behind, snatched her chain and sped away.

Knocked down

Sravya, 15, died while her father Srishailam, 35, sustained serious injuries when a water tanker hit the motorcycle they were travelling on near Aramghar crossroads on Tuesday.

Woman ends life

Reportedly dejected over his brother's death in railway accident in Kolkata, a person Krishna, 28, committed suicide by jumping into a well near his house in Narsingi on Tuesday.
