Traffic curbs for Kalam's visit

HYDERABAD: The police on Tuesday said traffic would be stopped or diverted on the following routes in connection with the two-day visit of President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on Wednesday. From 10.20 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday: Begumpet Airport, PNT junction, Shyamlal building, Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet flyover, Greenlands, Rajiv Gandhi statue at Somajiguda, Villa Marie College, Raj Bhavan Road and Visvesvarayya statute at Khairatabad.

From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday:

Raj Bhavan, Lake View guesthouse, Visvesvarayya statute, KCP junction, Ansar manzil, Hotel Taj Krishna, Road No. 1/10 junction in Banjara Hills, Masab Tank, NMDC, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Humayunnagar police station, Mehdipatnam, Retibowli and Tolichowki.

From 9.15 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. : Tolichowki, Retibowli, Mehdipatnam, Humayunnagar police station, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, NMDC, Masab Tank, Road No. 1/10 junction in Banjara Hills, Hotel Taj Krishna, NFCL, Punjagutta, Rajiv Gandhi statue at Somajiguda, Rasoolpura junction, CTO flyover, YMCA flyover, St. John's Road, Sangeet junction, Rail Nilayam, Allugadda Bhavi, Mettuguda crossroads, Railway Degree College, Osmania University police station,

From 10.45 a.m. to 11.30 a.m: Arts College, RTC hospital, Tarnaka crossroads, Mettuguda crossroads, Allugadda Bhavi, Sangeet junction, PNT junction and Airport.

From 5.20 p.m. to 6.20 p.m : Attapur bridge, Retibowli, Nanalnagar, Tolichowki and Shaikpet Nala.

From 8 p.m. to 9 p.m: Madhapur police station, Road No. 36/10 in Jubilee Hills, Jubilee Hills check post, KBR statute, Green mosque, Srinagar Colony `T' junction, NFCL junction, Punjagutta junction, Rajiv Gandhi statue at Somajiguda, Greenlands junction, Begumpet flyover, Hyderabad Public School, Shyamlal building, PNT junction and Airport.
