Dry weather

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably to markedly at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, fell at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Kerala, rest coastal Karnataka, rest south interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal at one or two places over interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh. Tamil Nadu, below normal at a few places over Kerala, rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over rest north interior Karnataka, Telangana, Rayalaseema, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
