Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has asked the Chennai police to register a case against 19 persons, including Anil Ambani of Reliance Energy Limited, on a complaint lodged by Rajkumar Khemka, "if the allegations contained in the complaint constitute cognisable offence."

In his petition, Mr. Khemka, vice-chairman of NEPC India Limited, said the directors of his company were threatened by officials of Southern Wind farms Limited , which had purchased the wind energy division of the NEPC in January 2006. After a complaint was preferred with the Triplicane police here, one C.P. Khandelwal and others threatened themwith dire consequences.
